The hair jig takes owner Matt Eisenbacher back to
his roots of making trout flies in Montana in his youth.
Instead of a #1 bucktail streamer, the Hammer Hair Jigs are
super sized bucktail jigs to fool the largest bass.
Each jig is hand crafted in layers to achieve
balance with durability. Each layer is locked in with
binding thread wraps and glued in place. Each jig is a
combination of synthetic hair and extra long natural bucktail.
Long hackles also add to the finished look. The head
is powder coated and the eyes are locked in place with a seal
coat. The finish thread wraps are also covered with a seal
coat for durability.
In addition to the below color patterns, the sky is the limit if
you want a truly custom hand tied hair jig.
